Childrens' Handbell Choir Childrens' Handbell Choir directed by Brenda Ward Singing at the worship service June 29, 2008 The Handbell Choir practices during Sunday School time and welcomes new members.  Please see Ms. Ward or Rev. Pierceall for information. All children are invited to participate in the Children's Sermon during the Sunday morning worship service. Mission Friends  Mission Friends is an organization for girls and boys with an emphasis on 3 to 7 year olds at First Baptist. The group meets each 2nd Sunday of the month. The children go to the sanctuary first and stay with their family until after the children's sermon. They then go with the Mission Friends leader to the 4-5 year old Sunday School classroom for their meeting. During the meeting the children learn about a missionary and his/her family. Stories, handwork, singing, and prayer reinforce the lesson. Behavior that Jesus would like to see in children is stressed.  Sharon Brookbank is leader for Mission Friends.
